On Monday I had the pleasure of attending a L'Oréal Paris launch event for their new range of skin care; Hydra-Total 5. First, we kicked off our day by having an exclusive lunch in honor of brand ambassador and actress Freida Pinto at the Ritz-Carlton. Talking amongst fellow bloggers, beauty enthusiasts and of course Freida Pinto, we discussed the new skin care line while exchanging beauty tips and tricks accompanied by some fantastic laughs as well as some great food.
After, we parted ways for a few hours just to reunite at the evening launch event for Hydra-Total 5 which took place in the Royal Suite at the Ritz-Carlton. The suite was full of delicious treats, awesome people related to the beauty industry and an abundance of information in regards to the new skin care line.
Now, I love playing with makeup but taking care of your skin is important because it provides you with an optimal canvas for your makeup so I was absolutely delighted to say the least to attend this L'Oréal Paris event and learn about a few new amazing products!
The Hydra-Total 5 skin care line is divided into three "Ritual" combinations. Depending on your skin needs you can find something that would bring the best out of your skin. All these products have a fresh scent that isn't over powering.
-Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Ritual: The packaging for this combination of products is yellow. Each product is sold separately. There are 4 products in this range that include an exfoliating scrub, toner and two moisturizers; one of which has a SPF of 20. The products are geared towards moisturizing, even skin tone, protect, illuminate and smooth uneven skin.
-Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Soothing Ritual: The packaging for this combination of products is pink. Each product is sold separately. There are 3 products in this range that include micellar water (cleanser), toner and of course a moisturizer. These products are geared towards moisturizing, soothing dry skin, replenishing, soften and comfort.
-Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Fresh Ritual: The packaging for this combination of products is blue. Each product sold separately. There are 3 products in this range that include a gel cleanser, toner and cream-gel moisturizer. These products are geared towards moisturizing, revitalizing, refresh, soften and tone.
The pricing point for all these products are rather affordable. The cleansers and toners go for $9.99 CAD where as the moisturizers go for $14.99 CAD. Currently this line of skin care is targeted for Canadians only so you will only be able to find these products in Canadian stores that sell L'Oréal products.
Bottom line: The L'Oréal Paris Hydra-Total 5 skin care line seems promising in helping both men and women tackle common skin problems and that this is definitely worth indulging into because you're worth it!
Below you will find a collection of pictures from the lunch and the evening launch event!
