Belle Eloise is Ten Months Old!

I know I am a couple days late for Belle Eloise's monthly photoshoot but better late than never right? We actually had to go to the ER on the day of when I was going to do her photoshoot because Eloise would gasp for air the odd time and I wanted to make sure everything was okay and the Doctor assured me she was perfectly healthy! Phew! However to make double sure, we will be taking her to her pediatrician soon. Other than that she has been doing excellent!

Feeding her solids is becoming more and more fun as she is really enjoying new things. Some of the food she loves are cheese, greek yogurt, mangos and pasta. She hates vegetables so I've been trying to be creative with it. I made her cheesy broccoli quinoa bites and as much as I loved them, she didn't. I found a broccoli mac and cheese recipe on Pinterest that I am going to give a try so we will see how that goes. We are also continuing breastfeeding. I don't know if I am willing to change that anytime soon! hahaha.

She is talking a lot! She says "mama" "dada" "what's this?" and at times we find her repeating the odd words or phrases we say to her. Also she correlates words with their correspondence. If I say to her "where's your water?" She will crawl to her water cup and start drinking it. Recently I've also noticed when she is happy she will say "YAY" and clap her hands; I think she sees my husband and I do this all the time when we get excited LOL. Let's just say we're very expressive and vibrant with her.

Eloise has also started getting better at asking for things like pointing in the direction of what ever it is she wants. We are in awe watching her own personality flourish. She loves to share her food as she will try to feed us a bite of whatever she is eating. She loves to share her toys. She interacts well with other babies and enjoys engaging with them. Eloise must flip the pages in the books we're reading her. She is slowly learning to be gentler with our dogs as we should pet them not squeeze them. Luckily though we have very patient dogs.

We're so very excited for the warmer weather to come already! We bought her one of those push bikes that we are dying to use. I am not going to lie, I got pretty emotional buying her first bike. We really look forward to taking her to the park and doing lots of outdoor activities this spring and summer.

Below you will find the photo's I took for her 10 month photoshoot. She is usually smiling like 90% of the time but when it comes time for her photoshoots she turns on her sassiness as I think she thinks she is posing for baby vogue LOL.

xoxo
